Do High Crime Rates And Democratic Administrations (Local, State and Federal) Go Hand in Hand?

Consider the major metropolitan areas in the U.S. with the highest crime rates.  Are they democratically controlled or republican controlled? Do party policies have a negative/positive influence on crime rates?

The Highest Crime Cities in America All Have This ONE THING In Common

Left with no other avenue of escape, the hapless residents of America's urban reservations--built and (barely) maintained, of course, by democrats--have little other recourse than to turn to crime.  ADD to the mix the general policy of citizen disarmament on the part of democratic party, and you have the recipe for disaster.

A disaster which is now coming to full flower under the administration of America's worst socialist prez since FDR.

Nope, same answer as to your other question trying to pin bad things on liberals. Only more so.

The Scandinavian countries have MUCH lower crime rates and something like one 10ths as many criminals incarcerated. Maybe you should reconsider your disdain for Democrats ;-))

    1) I posted a question.  The author(s) of the article are trying to pin bad things on liberals.  I trust you understand the difference.

    2) The article doesn't relate to Scandinavian countries.  It relates to AMERICAN liberals/progressives/democrats.  That, and I conceded, in my response to the other question, that progressivism probably works better in that part of the world where it was hatched.

As for my disdain for democrats, I used to be one.  My opposition to slavery is one reason why I no longer am a democrat.

Statistics are so grateful. One can present a topic in a seemingly unbiased way although that won't necessarily be the case. We've seen lots of examples lately. Common for all of them will be the lack of going into the statistical material and only looking for a heading.

I think you are correct but only because the densely populated areas will vote democrat and also will have the higher crime rates.  I do not think it is because they vote democrat that they have the crime.  These areas usually have the most poor people, and people with criminal records, and people with drug addiction. There is no subsidized housing outside of urban areas, or easy access to drugs, or a market for stolen good. It makes sense that the criminals will stay to the city an the crime rate will be higher.

    Hello again, N:

Consider the South.  Southerners LOVE grits.  Southern states have LOW crime rates.  Does eating grits have a negative or positive influence on crime rates?

I've you've ever eaten grits you'd know the answer would be a positive one.  After a plateful of grits you don't want to do much of anything except crap. :-)
