Some of the House Dems got together and sent Pelosi a letter saying they have to give the President something. And several have said on the news that a wall is needed and appropriate in some areas.
Let it not go unnoticed by you that every Congessional seat holder whose district lies where the wall would be is against the wall. Every one. But all want the shutdown to end, soon. It should be apparent to you that Congress is having empathy for the plight of Trump’s 800,00 hostages, for the abject idiocy of the shutdown he so proudly and moronically initiated, over a position that the majority of Americans are against. It is wildly apparent to me that neither he, nor you, does. As long as you perceive a “booming“ economy, and your paychecks are coming in, all is well.
I haven’t seen any ”tantrums” by a Democrat as yet, but labeling an opposite position as one, does not make it so. This whole mess is less about real border security, and certainly not about any imagined armies of Hispanic monsters invading the US, than it is about Trump, flailing to preserve and justify his calamitous, unpopular presidency, bereft of all reason or sanity.
