Help! Can anyone identify this tree below?

I love this tree. It's not a great picture, but I felt creepy standing at my window taking a pic of my neighbor's place, so I snapped it quickly.   They're not home, so I can't ask them what type of plant it is.   Any guesses?   I want to get one for my yard as well.  Thanks.

  • I can’t tell if the flowers on the tree are white or pink in your picture. If they’re white, it may be an evergreen pear. Pretty tree :)

    I can't identify it but I bet if you brought the photo to a plant nursery they could plus they could give you some growing tips. Cheers!

    Google reverse image search says it's a gardenia, but I don't think that's right. I bet if you take the photo into a local nursery, they'll be able to help you find the match.

  • I wish it were Gardenia.   Our last home had some in our backyard, and when the breeze picked up, it smelled amazing.    Thank you though!

    English Cherry or Ornamental Pear.  My guesses.  I've had both in my yard though.

    It looks like a jade of some variety. Google 'money plant' and check it out. They can grow to be quite large and have pink flowers.

  • Oh man, my mom has a Money Plant that I bought her a few years ago. I think you're you right, and I can't believe that I didn't even think of that.    Thank you!    I will confirm when they get back, but I think you hit the nail.
