  • It does and I have used it in places like Toronto or big cities when I want to find a restaurant or something and I’m walking. I usually keep my location services turned off though cos it freaks me out.

  • I do even though sometimes I have my doubts about what it is trying to do to me.  A few months ago I was in Raleigh, NC meeting some family for dinner and I wasn't sure where the restaurant was from the parking garage so I set it into my GPS...that was the first time I noticed that it would recognize that I'm walking.  So I followed the directions for about half a mile and it told me I was at my destination...I didn't see my destination anywhere. Called the person I was meeting and they laughed because I had essentially gone 1/2 mile in the wrong direction.  So from what I said they were able to figure out where I was and I had a nice mile walk to the restaurant.

    Yes it does. And yes I do use it frequently. I also make it a habit to turn off the location tracker when not in use.

    No. It's just a straightforward, basic 3G 'phone and I have not tried to link it to the 3W.

    Although I think all portable telephones send hand-shake location signals as part of their network operation, I have no idea if it's possible to install a GPS application on one like mine. I wouldn't have thought it very useful on such a small screen.
