Yep stick a fork in me because I am done evolving up from what I was. Previous iterations are no longer a part of me because a long time ago I put them in a paper bag and buried them in a long - long grave . (stole that last part from a song called - Sing Your Heart Out - its by a Canadian band called - The Trews) Cheers!

That seems so very peculiar to me Nanoose. No disrespect intended. At the age of 81 I AM STILL THE PAINFULLY SHY LITTLE GIRL that I was when I was 8. She will always be part of me. She used to withdraw when things were uncomfy. I WITHDRAW when I'm uncomfy. She used to LOVE fairy tales. I LOVE science fiction which is the grown-up version. Her favorite place was always HOME. My favorite place has always  been and always will be HOME. She is always going to be part of me. What did you do to your young self and why did you think that would be okay? I think it's horrible terrible and mean. That's the sternest thing I ever said to you. How could you kill off that younger self? How could you? Thank you for your reply Nanoose. So there is no child left in you? No teenager? No young adult just staring out? All there is is the you here and now? What a loss. SIGH. This post was edited by RosieG at February 6, 2019 1:29 PM MST

Other than learning new things on a regular basis, what I am now is what and who I am as an individual. Many of the things I thought about, pondered on and carried out, I no longer do. They are part of my past but no longer part of me now. I guess the best way for me to put it more succinctly....

2 Corinthians 5:17   "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.”
