    When I eventually show them what an absolute cluster faaak of a person I am and they still stick around....Then I think what the hellz wrong with them, so I push them away lol. 

    Defeated before you begin.  I would think a person would be tired of that kind of existance. And decide to take another road, one to happiness. Not a difficult decision.

    The idea being, one minute you are safe and the next you are not safe.

    That is the sudden part.  If you are dying, there is a minute where you realize it is inevitable.  So, I see what you are saying, but I am talking about something a little different.

    I had a bad stomach ache.  I go into the emergency room.  They tell me I might have cancer.  That changes my outlook.  That's what I meant.  BTW, they were wrong.  I do not have cancer.  But, it caused me to re-think my life.
