An old version of Disney's Cinderella in cartoon form in about the 50's or 60's.  Some day my prince will come.

    That song.

I never bought into that "soul mate" business but how about Waiting For My Dearie from the musical Brigadoon?  "but if a woman sits and has no men oh how long becomes the night.  But I fear the night is longer when the man's not right".

  • I too never bought into the "soulmate" thing.   There is just no such thing, but a few good couples songs for me are "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley,  and "Love Cats" and "Just Like Heaven" by the Cure. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at February 10, 2019 10:33 PM MST

*sigh* Beautiful song. I'm going to go cry into my coffee now.

  • For the song on knowing someone is out there for you and waiting for the right one, I could only think of  a really old song. I guess people just don’t believe in that anymore lol.

He is more than a soul-mate for me, he is God-chosen.
Matthew 19:6 "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."  God truly, has brought us together.  This will be a totally new experience for both of us, behold all things become new.  Really exciting actually.
