When I sit in my garden on a warm summer morning, I sometimes have a butterfly land on me, but they discover I am not a flower. Last summer, I was buzzed by a hummingbird. I thought it was a bumble bee by the sound.
The lady next door taught me all about hummers. We have them around here, and I always thought they were timid because they are so small. Nope. Not so. They are kind of friendly and think nothing of buzzing around us. I love them. So tiny, so fast, so cool. And those nests are so amazing.
