Human stupidity causes lots of tragedies. However, human greed outweighs human stupidity when it comes to causing tragedies.
- Contractors allowed to build on flood plains (especially in times of prolonged drought). When the rains come, the houses wash away. - Utility companies pocketing billions instead of maintaining their equipment which then causes massive wildfires. - Building houses on ocean spits , sides of cliffs, or man-named islands... only to have a hurricane or heavy rains wash them away - then they rebuild in the exact same spot (russian roulette?)
That I will never understand. Rebuilding in the exact place where the devastation occurs and then wondering why it keeps happening. Not too schmart! Thank you for your reply Shuhak! :)
