This white guy doesn't think so. The Daytona 500 is Sunday. That's the only race I care about.

Depends on the context. But yes, a black person can be racist. Racism is not limited to any one color.

You bring up a good point with context, but I'm not talking about whether or not a black person can be racist, I'm specifically asking if the mere mention  of race = racism.

I do not consider the mere mention of race as racist. It is a fact of life we all come in different colors and creeds.
But I have encountered people who have. In line in school a  black girl was talking and called someone white, she looked at me and said no offense. I did not understand why there would be an offense. She was just stating a fact and not being rude in the context either.

I had never seen the race card played like that against a black person. I know a non-black person often will be called racist if they mention race at all. Usually in political talk just as a way to shut the other side down.

  • If you're referring to your question about you and Zack, that's wasn't racist.  It was more a question about diversity at AM.

  • It’s only about 2 hours from Niagra falls. If go,  take the road trip there too. Well worth it:)

  • Aww, my husband is from the less pretty American side of Niagra Falls, outside of Buffalo.  I  have always wanted to go there to the Canadian side, but he has zero interest in it since he went there a lot as a kid.   I am trying to coerce a friend of mine to go as well but no luck yet. I could go alone, but I want a traveling buddy.   I am going to have to concoct some "yes" potion and 'enhance" someone's coffee if they continue to put up a fight. • Haha, spike the coffee!

The Canadian side is lovely. It can be a money pit with all the touristy stuff you can do on Lundy’s Lane. If you stick to just the falls and avoid all the stupid freak show attractions,  it’s a great little vacation spot. Here’s a pic I took last year from the walk behind the falls.
