Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» DESPERATELY NEEDY for ATTENTION AFFECTION APPROVAL 24/7! INSATIABLE. I don't know about choo but I have no use for such folks. Do you?
Very insane if you ask me, to WANT that. Most people are very satisfied with sharing compliments and making one another feel good. No one needs to rob attention. No one wants attention all the time unless the person is severely deranged.
Why would you want me to pay attention to you 24/7? Would you not go insane with boredom? Or would you try and manipulate the arrangement and get me to do Michael Cohen behavior. I love you so much, that I will die for you.
That is what Trump dreams his life away about. 24/7
People who do this behavior are mentally ill. Severely. It is a testament to the mentality of this country that this kind of person would ever be considered for office.
I believe that a person who needs that kind of attention is someone who received little to no attention growing up. I'm not sure it rises to the level of mental illness, but it definitely is a matter of low self-esteem. I don't know much about Trump's early childhood, but I don't get the impression from the little that is out there that his father was a loving, affectionate person, nor did his mother appear to be either. One of his brothers died from alcoholism which makes me wonder just how much pressure to succeed his father placed on them.
You are a kinder nicer person than I am my friend. I have contempt for them. Disdain. They annoy me. I have found that such people are whiners not doers. I have known folks who endured huge tragedies and you would never know it by their demeanor. They were never "woe is me look at me pay attention to me love me". I mean seriously that is what little donny doughboy exemplifies and shock of shocks his peeps give him all the attention and love consistently constantly unquestioningly. I don't get it. What the he ** are they made of? Anyway thank you for your reply L! :)
It does not mean I have no contempt or disdain for them - just that I pity them for not being raised in a nurturing atmosphere. Once we reach a certain age, we can no longer blame our poor behavior on our early upbringing. We must take the reins and make the changes necessary to correct our bad behavior.
There is nothing wrong with compassion, Spunky. We have to realize that there but for the grace of God, go many of us who happened to have better life circumstances.
