Strangely ,it was when I wanted "Every One Out" and as you well know by now....When the Juggs speaks ,things has two happen.... Now where's my Grit's :(. Grrrrrrrrrrr
I've a strict rule that no more than two staff would be in my office at the same time. Last Diwali six or seven of them barged into my office to seek redressal for what they perceived was unfair treatment meted out to a junior. And I wasn't even remotely involved in that incident. I shooed everyone out of my office and into the conference room, where I and the manager involved attended to their grievance. BTW, I don't shout in the office: it's unprofessional conduct and, moreover, quite unladylike.

"Excuse me, if all of you would please go into the conference room, we will discuss this matter there. Yes, that's right, off you go, thank you, I'm right behind you, and the manager will be along directly . . . " ~

More like: "Decide which two of you want to speak for the rest. All of you want to speak to me? Then see if the CR is free for half an hour and let me know. Free? Then wait for me there. I'll see you in five minutes. (To my assistant) Get Madhavi to see me quick. She's coming with me to the CR. (To Madhavi, the manager): No matter who says what, keep your cool, okay? And for God's sake don't start to weep before them. Or they'll screw you right and proper. " " Yes, Miss Neelam. "
