I wonder. All obscenely wealthy folks are used to being sucked up to because of their money. Do they kiss one another's butts too?

I think it is the same all over sweetie only different. In some countries having ROTAL BLOOD is all that counts. Having lotsa money along with it doesn't hurt of course but rich American women MARRIED poor European "nobility" and each got what they lacked. For Americans it was a certain cachet and title and being considered "special". For royals they were "kept" in the style to which their station wanted to be accustomed. They could save face. Save their property. A business deal. Nothing more. Nothing less. I think in America MONEY is the most important thing. If you have enough of it you can be a real top-notch pig and still be surrounded by adoring worshippers who will butt -kiss you for eternity. Anything to get close to that money. Doesn't say much for humans does it? Thank you for your reply D! :)

No it doesn't Rosie...thankfully most humans don't have those traits though...

Does having money  automatically confer "superiority" on the wealthy? They act as if does. They seem to think it is their DUE. I'm gonna ask. You're right. Most folks aren't like that. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

For many and mostly the privately educated ,kinds of wealthy parents. ,so called sports stars that's never done a days work in their lives ,to many actors male and female alike and politicians that want us to believe they are of the elite and far more special than Joe Blogs....
With out Rubbish collectors ,we would all be living in our own mess....
Without the people that supply our water  we would all be dead or ill ...
Wealth from paper money is valueless in war times.....it's only use is then to burn to keep you warm....
Money only exists as a universal way of trading........
If a bank loose's all your details and they get wiped of their computer systems...you are instantly poor 
Move a decimal point and you can lose millions in an instant...:( 

Didja see the question I asked this morning about the intrinsic worthlessness of money? We impute value to it but all it is is colored paper. The setup of the world is skewed to those who control the most money. Guess who they are? Not the nicest people. Now of course there are always EXCEPTIONS. But mostly folks who value money as if it were a god are the least among us for they will do anything to get it. I have really only ever known personally one REALLY RICH person. It was the mother of my son's girlfriend when he was 16 in high school. She was a piece of work. Divorced. Tons of dough. She said one day that we should all move to New York and live there together. I'm not kidding. Her daughter was sweet. Mummy was a viper vulture used to getting her way. But I was astonished that she would say that. She was pushy and selfish and controlling. I got out of that "friendship" fast but my son hung in for awhile. She'd badmouth me to him. He just let it roll off. They broke up eventually. Suffice it to say the experience soured me on the wealthy. Are they all like that?  I dunno but I do think there is a tendency for the wealthy to believe sincerely they are "better than". Anyone who thinks that is not my cuppa tea.  Thank you for your reply D! :)

There was an American multi multi millionaire that reached old age and gave away all of his money....he brought a tiny cottage in the wilds of Scotland and moved and lived there like a poor pa Rosie.. He'd had enough of money and the problems  that come with it.  ...I'm not sure if he's still alive....
Which ever way ,good or bad ,you can't tar all people with the same brush....
