Right now...as you sit there, can you hear an aircraft flying about?

    Yes.
    It's almost autumn here, the time when commercial crops of weed are nearing flowering and harvest.
    The helicopters are out with their special instruments that can detect the plant via its unique heat signature.
    They are combing the land in a grid pattern - noisy and unpleasant. Sometimes they swoop low and spook my horses, which is illegal and dangerous to the horses' lives. They're private contractors for the police so I have little means of complaint.

    Occasionally a commercial jet flies over, quite high.
    We're about three hours drive away from an international airport, and unfortunately only a few kilometres from one of the flight paths. This post was edited by inky at February 25, 2019 7:09 PM MST

    I live about 10 miles from a commercial airport and an air National Guard base. We hear aircraft all day.

    Yes,and it would be in Plane view if there was a moon tonight and I wasn't in my cellar, blindfolded and wearing dark glasses while trying to change the busted light bulb whist looking in the wrong direction with my eyes closed wearing eye patches to make out I was a pirate.......


    It could be worse.....it could be foggy to ,but I purposedly Mist that one to save confusion...   :)
