what's more painful; childbirth or being the child that was born

Aren't there plenty of drugs out there that can help a person survive through both?

Everybody who gives birth wants to do it again real soon. Very few whine about having been born.

The pain of childbirth is horrible.  How could it not be?  The pain of being given the gift of life is nothing compared to the joy of being alive.  We have moments up and down the whole spectrum of our state of being.  All in all, I'm happy to have spent a moment in time on this planet.
