It is a disease. It is a physical disorder that only an operation seems to correct. Several operations.
Believing something after being shown irrefutable proof that what you believe is a lie? That is a great disease. It is a cognitive brain disorder. A disorder that needs to be tested before someone is allowed to VOTE.

Well, hell ... Seems like everything is either a disease or addiction, these days. And usually, an addiction is a disease.
I thought it was going too far, when they claimed smoking, alcoholism, and drug use were diseases. (implying that people weren't responsible for their actions, starting down those paths)
When they claimed that playing too much video games was a disease ... I knew the inmates had taken over not only the asylum, but the entire world.

Actually it's not. Having a transgender close relative, I've had reason to find out. One really can't help the way one's brain is wired. This relative was also educated in a Marist Brothers school, and as the smallest kid ... enough said. That also wasn't a choice.
