Is anyone besides me using Google Chrome and getting plagued by this SPAM called Search Encrypt? It is impossible to dismantle.

    I am a victim. Search Encrypt is a company in Cyprus, I think. I have tried to escape but maybe if I take my computer into the local shop, maybe they can fix it, but that costs money. This post was edited by B.H.Wilson at March 3, 2019 5:18 AM MST

    I am on Google Chrome.  I have a prompt in the corner that is the access to the settings.  It looks like three vertical dots.

    If you click on that and go to advanced settings there is actually a prompt asking you if you want to dismantle search encrypt.  I just found this.

    I clicked on it and it is gone for NOW.  

    Try that one.

    I have tried that several times before, but it doesn't mention Search Encrypt.
