Does tearing other people down make YOU feel better about yourself?

This reflects a grade school level of maturity.  I feel better when communicating with me is a positive experience for others.

No, and I never do that. When I see that happen I feel embarrassed for the victim and the bully. I will step in and go into protect mode like a mamma bear.

No, I can't stand ill feeling, why would I want to waste my life on that?  However, some people have no respect for others, neither do they think about the consequences of their actions.  Negative people like to draw negativity, it makes them feel good, I try to avoid people like that in my every day life, they can suck the life right out of you if you let them. Maybe people have no other way of controlling their lives both outside and inner and so they seek to control others, they feel out of control and so seek to control where they can, I've met a few people like that in my life and I do my utmost to avoid them.  Persistently, seeking to tear other's down is a form of bullying.

No when people are being torn down my feeling is that I must stand up for them and defend them.
