Oh geesh; I can't stand to hear a TV while in bed.  I don't understand watching TV in bed really.  I do have a TV in the bedroom but the only time I might turn it on is to finish something I was watching when I decided to go up and get ready for bed.  Every blue moon, if I'm just tired but not really sleepy I turn on a movie in the bedroom.  I spend more time getting it set up and going than I watch, because as soon as my head hits the pillow it's lights out.

How can it?  If I'm up watching the TV, how can I be sleeping at the same time?

Watching TV with my husband before I sleep if it is the right programs can be very relaxing and often I begin drifting off during watching.  But I have never needed TV to sleep.

I have no problems with falling to sleep. I watch old western movies on TV and in 10 minutes, I'm out. Once in a while I awake if there is an intense gunfight, or lots of screaming.

I often fall asleep on the sofa watching TV. A couple of drinks helped, too.
