    Given that I'm married to ny best friend, I stick. For better and for worse.  When I said "until death us do part", I meant it.

    Well you surely are a GOOD PICKER R. Excellent! Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday. Oh have you heard of this young kid whose name is Felix Auger-Aliassime (sp?).     If someone is my friend it means we enjoy each other's company on one or many levels. If I were to judgmentally withdraw my friendship well I would not be much of a friend would I?  I don't think we can expect perfection from any human being and everybody to some extent tells lies, cheats, conspires, etc. We would not be human if we did not. We are daily faced with such choices and sometimes we are able to avoid them but sometimes we succumb.  And then if we decide to play a big game then all the more temptations some of which might become quite necessary.  I certainly would not support anyone in any major fraud nor would I lie for them in any public hearing. But then when you raise everything to the level of a public hearing you up the ante so you are encouraging even more lies and cheating and fraud!

    My husband is my best friend and we are very concerned with and do discuss each other's moral dilemmas and consider the best ways to proceed with the least hurt to people. Because oftentimes that becomes the major consideration rather than textbook morality.

    "Textbook morality"? I'm gonna use that in a question og and give you blind attribution. What does that mean? That you and your husband justify/rationalize right and wrong? I see no value in that. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee!  :)
