what album art/cover is your favorite


ive always liked this one and their other self titled album

  • This is a very difficult one for me.  I love so many musical artists in so many different genres that I have been awestruck by too many to count through the years.  Off the top of my head though, the album art for "The Lightning Seeds" third studio release, "Jollification"  is without a doubt a favorite of mine.  Surreal, whimsical, and bright, it is quite eye-catching!  Not in the least bit subtle with its multi-coloured strawberries floating through open windows into a dream blue sky.  Somehow I can relate to it's abandonment of the conventional and its firm embrace of the nonsensical.  What fun!

    you know, I don't think I've ever listened to this entire album but the cover art has been in my head for seemingly forever.
    But, even at that, I've never looked really closely at everyone in there.
