Rosie, just my opinion but looking at the current political landscape, Americans are going to be disappointed in the election outcome regardless of who wins. There has been a great deal of insults, of name-calling, and of chest-beating at both party conventions; but what's disturbingly absent is any mention of how we got to this crisis and how we can get out.
From the current foreign policy mess to the looming economic collapse, all we hear is both party candidates saying they will fix it, no problem but will they, can they? Not alone they can't. This will take a concentrated effort from both parties and from the "real" government-----We the People.
I'm not happy for either one but Hillary is no bargain either. If the Media were doing their job you would be shocked .

Maybe Trump will push the GOP to do what they should have done years ago, which is admit that they're really two parties pretending to be one, adn separate into their two competing factions: pro business Republicans and Aryan National Socialists (aka "Dixiecrats"). Republicans absorbed the Dixiecrats into their party beginning in the 1940s but failed to address the fact that trying to represent business interests and an Aryan National Socialist agenda under the same party tent is ultimately doomed to failure.

I couldn't agree with you more RC. It's lose/lose no matter which way it goes. One of 'em is scarier to some of us and the other one is scarier to others of us. No one feels good about the election or safe. Talk about a crapshoot! We the people are allegedly the real government but haven't we been declawed and detoothed for years? What power do we have except voting and even that is screwed around with every election. We keep voting for the guy/gal we think we do the best job and it doesn't matter. They are all lousy at what they do. It just depends upon which lousy your political party

represents. And so it goes. Thank you for your thoughtful answer RC! :)
That is a very good thing to bring up CSV. They are divided and have been ever since absorbing the racist Dems into their arms and inviting them into their

tents. Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply and Happy Monday! :)
