No. I like my real life friends. I appreciate my online friends, but I think online friendships are not permanent, cos real life gets in the way. That’s fine, so I enjoy it while it’s there, but never get too close. Gangsta.
I have enjoyed having online friends but have only had a few on this site as people here seem to be less comfortable with private chatting than they have been on other sites.
After the way I was treated in a grossly offensive manner by an Australian lady, who after some years of good friendship, completely misjudged me, Ive become very wary of online friends. There are, however, a few whom I've grown to trust.

Did you open the book of your life to me? I would say I did to you and I felt good doing it. Because of the relative protection of the net. But not just that - I also learned so much from you.
I don't know as it needs to be. After all we can get so much out of a good book just reading part of it. Don't have to read the whole thing or be in on everything behind the scenes. Dear I reach out to people that is me. But I try to be careful so I am not hurt. Not do I want to hurt others.
I've known you well enough to know that hurting someone is not even the last thing on your mind. And I'm glad you've escaped unhurt. Not everyone is as lucky, and I've known a person who has been through the grind of pain more than once, and was forced to quit AM.
K. I responded to your chat message and I notice we are still "friends" on here. Send me a private message which I can answer at my leisure. If that is agreeable. Not sure how much longer I can stay on tonight as past my bedtime and I am falling asleep in my chair.
Sorry I had to attend to an urgent call about a minor crisis at the office on Friday which I had to defuse by making a few telephone calls. Hopefully that's settled. And yes, we are friends. I can never unfriend you.
