Ever read a fascinating book only to find that someone had removed the last page so you didn't know how it ended?

Were you angry, disappointed? Or just puzzled as to why anyone would do it?

Here's the thing. I'm puzzled by the Mueller report. I think STOIC kicked in so I'm not angry or upset...but I am puzzled. Maybe when the final chapter is written by the SDNY and someone writes THE END I'll know more and be able to assess the value of all that has been going on. Right now? Puzzled is all I got. What about you? Are you puzzled too?

Haven't had that happen to me, yet.

I have had where the publisher replaced pages in the middle, with duplicate pages from a prior chapter.
It caused a sense of deja vu ... and a "did I read that, or just imagine it" - followed by "wait, that doesn't tie to what was happening on the last page.  WTF?!?"

And, of course, the dreaded "It's a serial but they never write the last {episode} and tie up all the loose ends".
This happens with books and TV.
I'm thankful they wrote a movie to "wrap up" Firefly.  That's a rarity for TV shows that get canceled.
Babylon5 had a weird situation where they wrote an episode to wrap up the series, thinking it was going to be canceled.  But then it wasn't canceled, so that episode is out of place.

So you are not puzzled as I am about anything at the moment then? Thank you for your reply Walt.
