  • Don't worry if it's dirty or not.  Just open up and put it in your mouth.  LOL!

I found one of my meds on the floor that I had dropped earlier in the morning. It was still good.

Oh brother.  We are surrounded by and live with germs.

They are in our body.  So why are we so afraid of them?  We poop out germs.  We eat germs.  We freaking are germs.

So, what is all this nonsense about germs.

I have never been infected by germs that have done any damage to me besides maybe a pussy scab here and there as a kid.

I don't fear malaria, swine flu, shingles, or anything that may happen to me sometime somewhere.  And it isn't going to happen to me because I forgot to wash my hands or ate out of a non-sterilized dish for godsake.

    NO RULES.  NO RULES.  NOOOOO

Truth is, germs are good and we need to have a healthy balance. Just think about it, Americans are completely preoccupied with germs. ... Because they kill ALL the bacteria on your hands; including the probiotic “good” bacteria that your skin and immune system need to stay healthy. • Okay, so what if you made toast and put peanut butter on it, then you dropped it on the floor peanut butter side down and it was covered in dog hair? Still eat it?

When I was young and hungry I not only used to eat the food off floors but also off the plates of others after they had finished.

WOW.  That is hard to read and know about you.  I am so sorry.  I wish I could have given you at least half the food that I was surrounded by.  I hope you never have that issue EVER again.

But Sharon I thought you would understand - was not any hardship at all but just something I did - to me something positive.  I would still do those things now if I had not learned that they were not socially acceptable.  Don't have a fear of "germs".  Or not much.  I grew up comfortably. Never went hungry until I got on my own and then only occasionally when I was living on the street.  At one time where I was I moved in with someone just because he had a hot bath and food in his refrigerator.  For a while when I was 20.  My boyfriend I went to CA with had thrown me out after he got interested in someone else.

    LOL

    THIS IS EVEN BETTER!

You have no idea how much of a fan I am now of you, Office.  THAT IS WONDERFUL.  LOL

I think I would do that too, come to think of it.  I never bothered to worry about someone else's plate.  I just pictured you surrying around in your ash-covered rags, shivering in alley ways hoping for a crust of bread.

    LOLOL

I am so glad I was wrong.  I guess I did the same thing then.  I would have no problem grabbing food out of my own garbage can if it was not corrupted by anything that would change the flavor.

BUT NEVER would I eat something out of a public garbage.  NO WAY.

You knew I was a hippie.  On the street in Berkeley January and February 1978 we did eat out of the garbage if something looked good. not anything disgusting but just what looked appetizing.  And when I worked as a waitress, soon after, I was not shy about sampling the leftovers on the trays I bussed.  Yes its appreciative - appreciating the bounty of the world.  I don't understand why some people - they have to clean all the time! I clean but in out home maybe two rooms out of eight are ever completely clean at a time because I clean in a big circle over a period of three months I get everything done but there are always more rooms that need it. And like some guys they have to take a shower just because they touched my boobs.

I'm a germaphobe so if it's on the floor it goes out the door.  I use thick rubber gloves to pick it up and throw it as far away as possible.

You are in the biggest denial of your existence.  Your germy hands are throwing it in the trash.  Your hands have more germs than the floor.

RELAX and enjoy all your many little invisible friends who are there to protect your immune system and ass.

The fact that I can't see them makes me afraid of them.  So what's so good about germs?
