Well, that is great if you are a self-starter and self-made individual. My brother was like that. He never finished high school but has a great trade in refurbishing houses and making them presentable.
I have been in school on and off all my life. I have many skills and no money for them.
I'm so sorry you had to endure getting flack from other kids in school. I think we all go through this one and some really suffer more than others. I kind of feel like that NOW. LOL It never goes away. I am 65 and am in school with people MUCH younger than me. It feels weird sometimes. I cannot relate to 20 year olds. Not when I am in a class with them. I don't WANT to. That is the problem. They bore me to tears mostly. They giggle when we are studying anatomy for godsakes. So lame.
And we have to sit and wait for everyone to stop giggling over and over again so the boring lecture on some organ that looks like a penis or a vagina can continue.
UGH, I don't remember ever being that stupid acting in my 20's.

Right now I am really hating school. They are giving us a million courses and no time to learn any of them. SO irritating. 
Is it self paced education or are you on the school's clock.......online or do you go to class?
Hang in there............there is nothing better than finishing something that was hard.
