You vaccinate your kid to protect him/her. Could he/she still get sick due to being around those who are not vaccinated?

The parents who don't vaccinate their kids are irate because the schools don't want them. If they don't care enough about THEIR children to protect them from getting a disease I guess that's their right. Right? But what right do they have to demand their unprotected kids mingle among those who are protected?

An unvaccinated child is no danger to a child the same age who is vaccinated. The danger is to siblings who are too young to be vaccinated.

  • they should be vaccinated because some people have medical problems or allergies that may not allow them to be vaccinated. if your child is perfectly capable of getting a vaccine without any negative effects then it is extremely irresponsible not to do so. it has nothing to do with "muh PeRsOnAl FrEeDoMs"

He/she could get sick from anyone. Or no one.
