Discussion»Questions»Food and Drink» Are animal fries America’s poutine? I just found out about this food today...I want it. Where is in and out burger??
Never thought about it but kinda. It's a west coast thing though. No one will no what you are talking about in most if the country. In and out is awesome but it isn't easy of the Rockies.
Ahhhh... i saw the recipe for animal fries... I’m gonna try make it, some day. I always get turkey burgers and fajitas with lettuce wraps at restaurants here. We’re so Cali in Canada :)
I think I’ve seen them talk about the adds for that place on tmz. Is always some hot chick in a bikini eating a hamburger in a car. They should be eating the animal fries on all fours. I’m going into advertisement.
I had Google what poutine was. Sounds like it is not legal for sale in the US cause the cheese curds are too fresh. The thought of gravy on fries is weird to me. But sausage gravy on fried taters is good so maybe.
Lol:) that’s so funny to me:) it‘s A staple here. Weird the small differences in countries. Also we have no sausage gravy here. I was working with some people who stayed here from Kansas, Missouri.. and they asked me about sausage gravy, we do not have that here... also they commented to me about how we have no pork in restaurants, that’s true. Except for maybe pork ribs. They said pork chops and such a staple there. Is not at all popular here.
Haha nah... I think our equivalent would be a baguette with olive oil and balsamic Vinegar...have you had that? It’s so good. I think we like it way you like biscuites gravy.
It’s french fries, fried onions, cheese and thousand Island dressing... it kinda looks like someone threw up on a plate. But I think it sounds delicious.
