Human hopes and dreams. And the freedom and dignity to work for them and realize them.

Sure: anyone who allows his or her life to be utterly consumed by obsessing on Donald Trump 24/7 creates his or her own misery, but it’s completely voluntary. This post was edited by Randy D at April 11, 2019 9:25 PM MDT

Yes there are other things in the world after all.  And seems to me if you she doesn't care for our president then why be so obsessed with him?  Like asking for heartache. Some of us who voted for him and generally approve of him have no desire to follow him anywhere near that closely.  Or perhaps we just have better things to do with our lives.

I know, right? Some folks have too much time on their hands.

And to the both of you, I say - if you don't care for the questions on this portion of the site, then it is not mandatory and you can opt to stay out of Rosie's Corner.

Hug all you want, I’m not going anywhere. You keep shoveling it, I keep flinging it right back at you.

And we can opt to come to the corner too. How’s this: if those who opine that the US is such a terrible place to be, they don’t have to stay here.  Oh, wait, that’s offensive and intrusive of a citizen’s right to remain in his or her country, isn’t it?

Sorry, Spunky, but no amount of “subtle” suggestions will make me run off. I have just as much right to come to this corner as she has a right to bash the president several times daily on here, and if she challenges him on every move he makes, she should be able to stand me challenging her. Nice try but no cigar.

I am not suggesting that you have no right to be in Rosie's Corner.  You miss the point entirely.  Instead of complaining about what she posts, you can avoid being irritated by simply not going to her corner.  She is not suggesting, in my opinion, that the US is a terrible place to be, she is stating that Trump is a terrible person, an incompetent president and is taking the country in the wrong direction.

You may have missed my point. This is not the first time you’ve mentioned that perhaps I shouldn’t venture here if I don’t like what takes place. Rosie complains about what she doesn’t like, yet I don’t see you mentioning that perhaps she should avoid it or not venture there. You express displeasure with certain things I write. If I complain or challenge or rebut or contest that with which I find fault, I’m exercising the exact same right that both you and Rosie exercise. If you’re so interested in not reading about what irritates a person, is Rosie’s Corner the place for you? Listen, I get it that you agree with a lot of what she writes, fine. You’re wasting your time even intimating that I stop coming here or that I complain about things she writes. You‘re free to keep doing it, just don’t expect it to ever happen. Rosie intentionally writes what she wants to write, and so do I.

By the way, in her own non-endearing way, Rosie has sometimes written that the US is now a terrible placket due to Donald Trump being in office. She quite often assigns numerous ills of this country squarely at his feet, even if and when there is no true connection to the presidency. There are times she does it sarcastically to make her points.  You’re entitled to your opinion of her meanings, as I am entitled to mine.

You’d probably love it if I never participated on Rosie’s Corner ever again, and I’d love it if it were not a necessity. Rosie finds importance in what she posts here, and I find importance in what I write here. If she ever stops writing things that I think need to be challenged, I will stop challenging them. She’s unlikely to stop, and so am I.

    Not really.  I'll try.

There may be a light at the end of the tunnel. That is the only sunshine I see.

He has not encroached upon my day-to-day activities JUST yet.  That is on the horizon when Health Care, Medicare and whatever has the word CARE in it is abolished.

The sunshine is very far away from me.  I know it is there but it is covered by a polluted sludge of hellish behavior in White House and that BASE.

Smelly pollution that fogs up everything.

With each day Dondon takes something away. So far our lives haven't changed Sharon but what happens when the evil one eliminates the AHCA completely AND reduces social security, MEDICARE (which saved my life) and medicaid which is what keeps folks who can't afford insurance alive. The evil one owns SCOTUS. The evil is booting all those who with a soul and a conscience and a desire to serve the country. He will eliminate anyone who doesn't lie down and roll over for him. His course of destruction is accelerating with the good help of his evil skinny twin Stephen Miller. how many more toady sycophants will the evil one empower to destroy all that is valuable? The toady sycophants in the Senate who are worthless spineless moneygrubbing scum will just look the other way which is to say all the trumpicans. They still have the majority so they are the enforcers. The House is now in the hands of a Dem majority but with SCOTUS and JUSTICE and the SENATE fodder for the evil one's appetites what happens next? Thank you for your reply.

Rosie! Hang ON.  I was looking for this question last night and I am so glad it came around again because I could not find it.

I must share this with you.  Only you will get the same thrill I got when viewing Maxine Waters handing Mnuchin his butt on a platter.

Now I have to get it again.  WITH PLEASURE.  HOLD ON.  There is MUCH MUCH MORE.  But this is the appetizer that will make you watch the rest.  THIS IS PRICELSS

You were talking about bullies before.  Here is how one acts when he thinks he has the upper hand and finally too stupid to realize, he put BOTH his BIG FEET IN HIS BIGGER MOUTH.

WHAT A WIMP. He did not expect Waters to hand him his BA*LS. BUT SHE SURE DID.

This makes me very very sun shiney and hope it does the same for you.

I want to watch it again and again. It is the gift that keeps on giving.

    Enjoy.
