Some say we've come a long way baby. That the human race is so much better than it used to be. Know what I am waiting to see?

An African American Muslim Gay Woman who runs for president and is not considered to be "unnatural" or "the enemy" or "the other". Now when will that day arrive? I dunno. But it is what I personally would like to see have happen. What would you like to see happen? Your best-case scenario?

      Instead of "identity politics", why not focus on competence and content of character?  Just because someone is of a particular ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and/or gender doesn't automatically mean he or she would be a better president than anyone else.
      For instance, I am African-American; based on what little you already know of me, would  YOU want ME to be the president of the United States???????
