    I have Easter Sunday off and I have worked everyday since Christmas, my last day off.

  • I don’t think everything is closed for Good Friday in the U.S.,  like it is here. So probably a lot of Americans are working.

  • You're right.  Many businesses are open on Good Friday.  Schools are closed .. banks and Govt. offices are closed.

  • I just found that out recently that not everything closes down for the holiday. We only have gas stations and a few pharmacy’s open here.

    I will be working. But many people will have the day off. Any job that is off for gov holidays will be off.  Schools, banks, many union jobs, etc.

  • We always got Good Friday off when we were working.  Kids aren't in school though.  I think it all depends on the type of business you work for whether you get that day off or not.

    I'll be working, it's just another day to me. I work on Easter, too. I hate it because of all the last minute shoppers then come the vultures after midnight to get all discounted candy. Some people load entire carts. What do you need that much candy for? Ew.

    but maybe only a half of the day...
