Can you LOVE someone who is incapable of loving anyone but himself? If one incapable of loving is he also incapable of feeling loved?

Is that what drives the corrupt the criminal the evildoers? Neither loving nor being loved (at least not recognizing it if they are)? Anger and jealousy at those who love and are loved? So much so that they delight in cruelty and depriving others of simple ordinary everyday pleasures?

    Love is a 1-way street.
It's nice when it's reciprocated ... but is not necessary.

I believe the "motivation" of most criminals is either a perceived need (money, food, shelter) or boredom.

Boredom?  Sure.  I read of cases in the 1970s - 1980s of young adults from wealthy families going to Lebanon to kill people.
These "kids" had every advantage, and had loving parents.  Yet they were so bored that they thought it would be a "grand adventure" to go to a war-torn country and try their hand at killing people.

I don't know of any 1-way streets that dead end.
How would someone get out of the area?

Love is 1-way in that ... just because PersonA loves PersonB, does not require PersonB to love PersonA.
Failure to understand this simple fact is what leads to feelings of rejection and possessiveness.
