Biden kept testing the waters but I guess he didn't test deep enough. He is getting LOTSA flack and attacks. Were they all expected?

Gadzooks his positions were wrong on more than a coupla things way back when. Folks have very long memories about things like that. Are you one of them ? Are con or pro Joe? Why?

The Republican DIRTY Party?  They are dredging up anything they can about EACH Dem candidate.  I am PRO on any Dem that can oust Trump.  ANY DEM.

They have to go back long and far to get enough dirt on Biden to come near to matching even one crime Trump has committed.  I think Biden is safe. LOL

They hate the gayness of Buttigiieg, they hate the Muslim in Congress, they Hate Kamala Harris and accuse her of all kinds of past voting issues, they hate.  That is their M.O.

So, we hate Trump and they have a LARGER obstacle than we do.  Trump is the only argument we have against anyone opposing Trump.  He is his own LOST ELECTION all rolled into one fat cheeseburger. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at April 27, 2019 1:38 AM MDT

Not this time Sharon. This time it is  Dems who are bringing them up. We LIVED throug them. No digging up the past is necessary. It was out there front and center. Perhaps you don't remember. I know that no one is perfect. We all mistakes. We take positions at a moment in time for whatever reason and later we regret them .In Biden's case his positions adversely affected others because he had a certain amount of power. I'm not saying he is a real bad guy. I don't think he is, But he was a very unenlightened male back in the day and took some positions that are regrettable. Who hasn't? But people have long memories. We cannot blame anyone for it coming back out but Joe. SIGH. I wish it weren't so. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :) This post was edited by RosieG at April 27, 2019 4:28 AM MDT

The same issues than pulled down Biden‘s two previous WH bids in ‘88 and ‘08, are likely to be problems for him again.
Particularly considering how petty and juvenile campaign rhetoric has become in the Age of Deranged Don the Con. No indignity too small, no low too low. That said, none of the current candidates is as vulnerable to criticism as Trump himself. This post was edited by Don Barzini at April 27, 2019 5:18 AM MDT

I agree with everything you wrote above DB. The things he did/said..the positions took then...cannot be undone. He can apologize all he wants but nothing will change. Way back then he was "unenlightened" for lack of a better word. He apologized to Anita Hill but she said it is too little too late.  I'm not sure one can really change much of one's inner core. He seems like a very nice guy with good intentions to do good on our behalf. But he is too old and carries too much baggage in my estimation and I'm not alone. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday to thee!  :)
