I still like this. I think you posted a question yourself and used this song as part of your question. (I think.)Anyway, I really like the song - - and the video really fits the song well.
    :)

Like Jaimie said here, I, too, have never heard the song before until you posted it around.

    Is that a texting abbreviation?

  • It is, it’s a pretty common one but I guess if you don’t text wouldn’t know it.

Yes that is not - well you know I am older unfamiliar with that.  Now I will know!

Don't use your age as an excuse.  I'm 73 and I knew what it meant and I don't text.

Yes but you don't use those abbreviations in your posts that I know of.  So either I ask and find out or don't go there and remain forever ignorant.

Don't have one and am not familiar with it.  My stepdaughters are in their early and mid 30s but don't use that kind of stuff.  At least around me and their father.

You need to get out more.  The Urban Dictionary is not a book, it's on line!  UrbanDictionary.com. This post was edited by SpunkySenior at May 5, 2019 8:05 AM MDT

By the way, while you're on that site, you might look up the meaning of the new name you've chosen.  Less than complimentary.

You seriously think she doesn't know what scum bag means.  Maybe you are right.  Maybe she thinks Rosie loves Trump as much as she does and she is complimenting him.   This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at May 5, 2019 1:00 PM MDT

  • She‘s obviously using the name to make a point. Why are you nit picking at her?

I wouldn't say she is "nit-picking" but just confused as to why I would choose that.

I had no idea she was making a point as I was not aware until just now that someone had called her that.  And, I'm not picking on her.  As an older person, I don't like people using their age as an excuse for not knowing something, such as a frequently used term in the internet age.  You don't know something not because you're old, but because you haven't come across it.

  • I see, I don’t see what the problem was with her asking me what “ATM” meant,  since I’m the one who wrote the question. I guess if she doesn’t have a problem with the way you’re addressing her, neither should I. It did look like nit picking to me though, but whatever.
