A leader should be honest and upfront about everything, even if it doesn't make them look good. A leader should be fair to all, not just those who can "repay" them. A leader should have integrity A leader should not be two-faced A leader should be impartial A leader should not be sanctimonious A leaders top priority should always be the welfare of the people they lead. Not enlarging their assets, advancing their own agendas, getting reelected, or righting all the wrongs in the world. A leader should be respectful of the country they govern. A leader should never put the enemy above or before their own country or countrymen A leader should strive to uphold justice, not skirt it. A leader should not seek conflict, but rather strive for peace whenever possible. A leader should respectful to other people (not call them names) A leader should control their tongue (words start wars, not armies) A leader should take their position seriously A leader must never forget that as they are responsible for the nation they govern, not vice-versa.

Well I don't follow "leaders" but rather I keep to my own course. Therefore any so-called leaders who stay the most out of my way I consider the best. The worst are those who seek to abridge our freedoms and take the fruits of our labors.
