    That they're sexy looking.  My last girlfriend told me that  it is NOT sexy when your gut hangovers your belt.

    That if you promise God you will never do it again, He will forgive you and not let you suffer.   (RIGHT)

    That there are valid "cures"

    That it only lasts one day.  (NOT IF YOU ARE A TOTAL AND COMPLETE ALKIE, it can take several days to dry out)

    That if you have a hair of the dog and drink some more, it will solve everything.  NOT.

  • That they can be cured. 

    I've never been able to cure one. It just has to go away on its own.
