    Sitting on the toilet.
    Picking his/her nose.
    Receiving oral sex.

(#3) So that's why her voice was all muffled.  I just assumed she had to work through her lunch hour.

Taking a dump (just wait until they invent aromaphones )
Watching porn (at least mute it)
Being chased by the police (did you know that there's a car just like yours on TV being chased by 25 police cars?)

Too many gross things to consider.

I will stick to just saying I don't talk on the phone ever.  EVER. So, don't call me.  Text.  I am a writer not a talker.

I’m the exact opposite: I prefer conversing over texting.

Yay, thee. Me too. Texting is too cumbersome, and if I am going to say"Screw you." I would rather say it.

    Murdering someone.
Driving to the destination of devistation. (If you are on the phone with them, you would be devistated, too.)
Putting you through to their automated answering system.

  • Fantasizing about someone else (yes,I  have been addressed by another name twice during the same phone call).
Fumbling with the newspaper; the rustle of sheets can be most annoying while trying to converse.
    Eating, especially loud chewing.

Yes, my sisters will be rattling around in their kitchens when they call me.

I totally agree with the eating.  People who smack their lips and chew with their mouths open make me sick.  Hearing it over the phone is disgusting.  Reading the paper?  That would make me feel like they weren't even interested in what I was saying.  How RUDE !!
