Is your city on the National registry as an "Orange Barrel City"?

I think we are number three in the nation. Detroit is number one.

My nearest city is three hours drive away.

However orange barrels or their equivalent are common on our country roads.
This is because we have naturally acidic soils and periodic, unpredictable catatrophic floods.
The combination means water dissolves the ground under the roads. They erode away.
Thus every local council has the major expense of continual maintenance and major repairs.

i don't know where you found that registry, but a quick search turned up no such thing.  Anecdotally, there is construction going on everywhere in NYC so we must have our share of orange barrels.

We have more Orange Barrels on our streets than lines.
I would have to say, Yes.  You must be on there somewhere.
I did look up Orange Barrel and we are defintely on the Orange Barrel Media.
We also have a Crate and Barrel registry in case you know anyone getting married or having a baby.  I'm sure they must have a mulititude of orange barrels in all shapes and sizes. ;) They can register there for gifts!
