I never got that in the first place. Why. Why is that shocking when every party in the world ended that way? It was the same thing as smashing a guitar after a concert. Why? Or, while we are on the subject, demoltion derbies. WHY?
It is just chaos and destruction which I find disturbing and boring.
Yes, food is expensive and it also lends to the fact that there are starving people who may like to have some of it.
Food can be cheap if you buy the fresh ingredients and prepare and cook it yourself. It depends on the ingredients. Meat, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy products are expensive - and should be. We only need as much protein as the size of the palm of one's hand per day to be healthy. One can have a completely healthy and cheap diet with just brown rice, green vegetables, onions, soybeans and a bit of fruit - with maybe a few herbs, spices and soy sauce for varieties of flavour. Most Westerners eat three times more than they need - hence the epidemic of obesity.
Food is very expensive if relying on restaurants, takeaways or packaged meals.
