It depends on the state you happen to be in at the time of the check. If they see symptoms they will check whatever is in your records and run a series of tests. They will either try to reduce your symptoms with medication or recommend other management strategies. If you are no danger to yourself or others, it will be your choice whether to follow their recommendations.
