    Stuff and gasses are meant to come OUT of that hole NOT go UP that hole.

    There are valid reasons for getting them.  


    In case there is an argument against enemas, they are very useful and even life-saving in some instances.

    To answer YOUR question though,

    1.  Don't get one if you have an enema addiction.  There are people who are addicted to enemas and laxatives.   Don't do that to your body.  

    2.  Don't get one if you are someone with squeaky-clean intestines.  You don't need it.

    3.  Don't get one if you are an infant without being checked by a doctor.

    4.  Don't get one if you just got an operation of the bowel or intestine.
