Interestingly, to me ... polls keep showing an increase in people who claim not to be "religious". So why do politicians keep trying to pass themselves off as "religious"? For a shrinking (but vocal) base?
I had no idea Walt! I expect it MUST BE THAT THE sb prez BASE is basically Evangelicals and it is to them he constantly plays and the toady sycophant lemmings follow his lead. Beyond that I haven't a clue! Thank you for the info. It is increasingly clear to me how bizarrely unclear the sb prez hold on people really is. I know that is a convoluted statement but we live in increasingly convoluted times.
