Discussion»Questions»Food and Drink» HOW DARE THEY? What EVER happend to Pepsi's brand of 7-UP? Teem? Remember TEEM where lemon and lime teem up just fine?
EDIT: I also like Pitch Black Mountain Dew which is difficult for me to find sometimes in comparison to all the other horrible-to-me "special" Dew flavors. :)
EDIT 2 : They don't even have decent images of it to find in Google- - look closely- - this image is from 2016 (DEWcision 2016)-- when the world had the choice to "choose" Pitch Black over the other flavor - - the winner flavor "stayed" -- Pitch Black won -- but it's still hard to find for me. And it doesn't even taste the same to me.

That's odd ... when I first Googled it, the result said it was owned by Pepsi. Had a graph showing Pepsi holdings and everything. Now, that result doesn't show anywhere on my latest Google search.
I guess the Pepsi brand is Sierra Mist ... we mean Mist Twist ... no, we're back to Sierra Mist, again. lol
It probably sounds fascist, but I'd rather they taxed sugar and similar substances at such a high rate that no one could afford it. Rotting teeth, obesity, heart problems, diabetes, failing knee and hip joints, and irritable bowel syndrome would drop by about 80%. They won't do it of course - because sugar ensures an endless source of income for doctors. Oh - and it makes people "happy" - no constitutional right to block a person's pursuit of happiness.
Here in Australia, only 15% of people still smoke - and they are far more polite and considerate about it than they used to be. What seems to have made the biggest difference was not the prices but the laws: bans on tobacco product advertising, products hidden behind locked white cupboard doors so smokers must ask before they can buy, hideous pictures of smoke-induced diseases on the packaging, and bans on smoking in all public buildings and transport. At the same time, they've made quit smoking programs cheap and easily accessible.
Trouble is, the same techniques don't work with sugar and alcohol - or drugs for that matter. :(
I never have heard of Teem. We always kept 7UP in our house, never CocaCola's Sprite. My husband used it making alcoholic treats. The 7UP brand was sold and now Pepsi only has limited rights regarding the product/brand.
