    I prefer hot coffee, even on hot days once I've cooled off.  I do like iced coffee once in a great while, though.

    Here's the deal.  I drink coffee.  If it is hot, I can't guzzle it.  

    I usually put enough cold stuff in it so I can.  So, iced is nice.  Just take out the ice before I guzzle.  I'm in a hurry and I need a pick-me-up because I have to re-make the table/bed with sheets and pillow case, get hot towels ready, guzzle coffee, get client, all IN FIVE MINUTES so I can get someone who paid me money to RELAX.  Ironic, isn't it?

    …. so I go to work and the first thing this other therapist tells me is how you can put coffee in ice cube trays and use the ice for coffee to cool it off.  So, maybe you want that idea too.
