Kamala Harris did herself proud. She really did. And it was not just this showing. She nailed Barr to the wall. That was chillingly delicious.
So would Elizabeth Warren. I don't know why everyone hates Bernie. Without Bernie there would be no progressive movement at all. He is the one who implemented the idea of Social Security and now he is branded a filthy socialist. ??? He was at the forefront of everything good in our Democracy that he never got any credit for starting. Because he talks and other people do the stuff later.
I never understood the hatred of Hilary, but I really do not understand why people are repulsed by the WONDERFUL Bernie Sanders who is so eloquent and smart and well-thought out and answers everything in a genuinely frank manner.

Yes, Kamala Harris did herself proud. There is something about Elizabeth Warren that just doesn't grab me. She seems too strident at times. I do like the fact that she has a plan for how to get what she wants done, but I'm afraid that unless we turn the Senate democratic, no one will have much of a chance to make much difference. McConnell will obstruct anything and everything he can and there will be four more years of getting nothing done other than absolutely critical items. When Bernie or Warren talk about free college tuition, I ask myself, "Why would I want to give a free college education to the children of million/billioniaires?" In the case of Andrew Yeng, why would I want to give everyone $1,000 a month to do absolutely nothing deserving of it? The greatness of this country was not made on the backs of people who sat on their bums doing nothing while waiting for the handouts of others who worked hard. I don't believe in us being a welfare state. Unless you are old, sick, disabled, or a child, if you can go out and get a job, you need to do so and, if you cannot earn enough to feed your family, we will supplement your income - not completely have you do nothing and collect a welfare check. How stupid is it for someone who is able to earn some money be told they earn too much to collect welfare? We should also be encouraging citizens and residents to learn trades or skills so they can earn a better living and be less dependent on the largesse of their fellow citizens. How said is it for someone who works 40 ours a week not to be able to take care of their family and need food stamps? This business of everyone gets a trophy absolutely stunts competitiveness to do better. Why should I work hard if I'm going to get a trophy no matter what I do? That has not been the American way, not should it become one now and I fear that moving too far left will continue to encourage people to do as little as possible to get by.
I'm glad you said that about Warren because she is freaking annoying. She has a really corny image. That is HER, unfortunately, but it is her OLD timey VERSION of her that she thinks is appealing to people. And it is appealing to NO one. Because people like her do not have to ACT folksy. They don't have to pretend they speak informally and "HAVE A BEER".
This is a Harvard Law Professor trying like crazy to let people know she is just like them. NICE. But she is going about it the wrong way. YES. We do not need an ACTOR.
WE NEED her to just talk and debate. She is an amazing prosecutor. GOD help Trump if she gets him in her sights. She has answers to ideas Trump doesn't even know he has yet. I have a lot of confidence in her debating. She is effective as heck in Congress.
But does that transfer? I only hope that if Kamala Harris is the Choice, that Warran will be part of that Administration. Same with Bernie Same with Biden and YES ANYTHING BUT TRUMP GOD PLEASE.
