It is extremely insulting to be told that what you see and hear isn't really there. The white picket fence dense Pence did that. WHY?

What he said and what we heard/saw did not make sense. Yet he said with great authority and certitude and I expect his peeps repeated it to comfort themselves. So I guess it works and that's precisely why he does it. If it didn't work he'd try something else. WHY does it work?
