I just have to answer in the mornings because I am waiting for my cookie to kick in.  So, here goes.


When you are scared there is no GOD you run towards the truth.  THERE IS NO GOD. At least that is what your mind fears.  There is no proof.  

So, you run towards the truth but your mind is stronger than your desire.  The mind sees NO GOD as the ultimate fear and total annihilation.  

So the mind fails. And falls into a precipice of a manufactured GOD that is so much worse than total anihalation. 

If only they would have just stayed where they were and shut up that inner voice.  None of this nonsense would have been necessary.  

You like to cross the finish line and there is a huge jump that is REALLY right in front of you.

You aren't sure if you can make it so before you hit mid-air, you wonder if you shaved before you started the race.
