President of the United States. They seem to be running their country just fine. I'm sure we could learn a thing or two from them and their policies. Immigration, for example.
We do have them, but you have to jump through a million hoops to get one. Mostly you need a good reason to own a gun - and "self-defense" doesn't count. Guns and owners need to be registered and licensed. Farmers qualify, to control vermin and humanely destroy critically ill or injured livestock. Target shooters are allowed to possess firearms but they must be kept at the shooting range, not the home. Collectors are also allowed to keep weapons but they must be stored in inoperable condition - firing pins removed.
It's better than the gun shop across the river called 'The Armory'...that recently got burglarized for an undisclosed amount of automatic weapons and ammo.
