There are over 100 diferent types of cancer that affect humans. There are many different causes and many protocols to treat them. We can't find cures for all of them. Should we stop trying?

According to the American Cancer Society, the rate of cancer deaths in USA peaked in 1991 and had gone down 23 percent in the ensuing 21 years leading up to 2012, the most recent year for which statistics were available.
