    I've heard a lot about the patriotism of Teddy Roosevelt, but my own pick would be Eisenhower. Not only did he serve with distinction, he also did a lot to defuse the situation in Korea.

    Plus which he was VERY PRESCIENT. He WARNED us about the military-industrial complex! I think he was underestimated. I think he also set up our freeway systems. I agree with thee R. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)
